Product Manager Outbound

Human Xtensions is a rapidly growing startup, developing breakthrough technology in the field of robotic Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS). We’re looking for a talented and highly motivated NPI Engineer for our Engineering department.

Job description

Outbound Product Management. The Product Manager is the core marketing owner and driver of the success for the technology platform . This is a general management role that requires Marketing strategy development and oversight while contributing to and influencing all facets of Sales and Marketing trough in-depth market expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain worldwide market expertise for products and trends market sizes/trend share, customer needs and targeting, product performance/benefits/weaknesses/positioning, including in-depth knowledge of competitor products and strategies, market trends and dynamics, market critical success factors, and customer needs.
  • Develop and update annual marketing plans/strategies including market analysis, customer segmentation and targeting, product positioning, competitive assessments, and SWOT or another situation assessment.
  • Assess new markets and opportunities in support of BD and R&D. In support of new product launches,
  • develop preliminary worldwide marketing plans and launch strategies, marketing strategy development and oversight
  • Create and develop strategies for new product commercialization.
  • Support launch readiness by developing product inventory timing, marketing programs, and working with Marketing Team to develop promotional collateral
  • Responsible for setting business, marketing and product requirements according to the company’s goals.
  • Launch new products by working closely with marketing, and sales organizations to maximize product adoption
  • shall provide on-going support of new product development including customer requirements definition, product concept validation, financial analysis, and securing Business Unit commitment through market launch.
  • Develop strategies to address product performance issues.
  • Develop and update annual marketing plans/strategies including market analysis, customer segmentation and targeting, product positioning, competitive assessments, and SWOT or another situation assessment.
  • Support launch readiness by developing
  • product inventory timing, marketing programs, and working with communications manager to develop
  • Work with clinical team to develop and drive strategic publication initiatives supporting new product launches

Experience Required:

  • In-depth experience in laparoscopic surgery
  • Previous experience in product life-cycle management and in project management responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience in launching technology
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
  • Flexibility and comfort with ambiguous product decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Build value propositions, messaging, and guidance for the field, partners, press, and analysts
  • Academic analytic mind, detailed oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Masters or MBA preferred with a strong relevant experience in the field
