Ronen Castro

CEO

Passionate about medical technology and proud to be involved in the most challenging frontiers of surgery. Insightfully steers the Human Xtensions team forward, enhancing innovation capacity and advancing the company into new horizons of excellence.

26 years in the medical device industry. Experienced in bringing medical device companies from an early stage to market, served in companies like Contec-Medical (Rigid Endoscopy products), Versamed (Software based Ventilation Machines), SLP (SleepMedicine and Respiratory products), and MetaCure (Implantable Gastric Stimulator for Diabesity). For the past 9 years before joining Human Xtensions, he was the CEO of IOPtima, which specializes in surgical ophthalmic products. Previously he was CEO of Allium Medical Solutions (TASE: ALMD), a manufacturer of various MIS products. Ronen is also the founder of DCS Medical and EZ-Tube. Ronen holds an MBA degree from Ben-Gurion University.

Alon Heth

VP Marketing and Sales

Results-oriented leader with vast international BD, sales & marketing experience.
Over 20 years of managing complex international sales of multidisciplinary systems and solutions in the Automation, Robotics, Diagnostic Imaging medical systems, Plastic, Food, and Industrial markets.
Vast experience in all aspects of international distribution/partners channel networks, B2B and B2C sales.

Asaf Stolovy

CFO

Optimizes the Human Xtensions activities, by managing all the company’s financial aspects and overseeing the effective implementation of its overarching corporate strategies.

Served as CFO at Hobart medical incubator, at Molecular Dynamics, and at Motorika, as Director at Core Dynamics and Impulse Dynamics, Controller Camtek (NASDAQ: CAMT), and as Senior Accountant at KPMG Israel. Holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University, and BEc from Haifa University, and is a certified IL CPA.

Yuval Blyakhman

VP R&D

Extensive experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes, defining device specifications and performing V&V treatments

Served in IDF’s technology intelligence division.

B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering.

Barak Klein

COO

Has more than 20 years of experience in management positions. Served previously as a COO at Flying Cargo group – providing solutions for the Medical Device, Aerospace, Defense & Hi-tech industries; in his last role, Barak managed over 350 employees –  team leaders, managers and senior managers. Barak was also conducting over 7 “cross country” company sites (Operations, Logistics & Manufacturing).

As a Senior Manager, Barak was involved in managing the QA/RA for the Medical Device and Aerospace industries, HR, Technology & IT, Safety & Security and project management for the company.

Barak holds an LL.B. degree from the Ono Academic College.

Dr. Amir (Amiki) Szold

CMO

Pioneering laparoscopic surgeon and renowned world leader in the field, heavily involved in medical innovation worldwide. He is the head expert of medical services at Human Xtensions, advising and directing the team to develop disruptive solutions that ingeniously cater to the entire patient-surgeon-hospital ecosystem.

Served as co-founder of Surgical Structures, and as Medical Director at ArTack, Visionsense, Simibionix, Topspin, VirtualPort, LifeBond, and MST. Chairman of the Technology Committee at the European Association of Endoscopic Surgeons. Was president of the International Society of Medical Innovation and Technology, and of the Israeli Society of Endoscopic Surgery, which he founded and where he serves as a director. Founder and advisor of the Physicians for Human Rights volunteer clinic.

Hagar Lisser

VP HR

Has more than 12 years of experience in various HR roles focusing on professional training, career development, management training, and a wide range of Human Resource support services. Hager worked in large organizations throughout her career, such as Leumi card and Yes – a direct broadcast satellite television provider in Israel.

Holds a BA in Sociology and Education and MA in educational consulting from the Tel Aviv University
